A Wolf's Tale Painted Backgrounds Original Art Group of 2 (Terrytoons, 1944). Connie Rasinski directed this updated "Red Riding Hood" story; in it, the Wolf is arrested but portrays himself as a victim to the police with a wild story. Here are two original 12 field 3-peghole hand-painted backgrounds, credited in IMDb as by Anderson Craig. The first is noted as 29 in the upper right; it's Grandma's bed as she slaps around the Wolf. You can find this online, at the 4:15 mark. The second painting, noted as 29, is Grandma's living room; she's blocking the door from the Wolf, who has just been beaten silly by the old lady. Find it at the 4:48 mark. Both backgrounds are in gouache on skimmed illustration board. They would work with any number of cels, and are pretty nice just as vintage art. Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
