Pokémon: Advanced "The Evolutionary War" Production Background and Studio Printed Layout Group of 2 (OLM, 2004). We have in this lot a great hand-painted production background from the episode "The Evolutionary War" of Pokémon: Advanced Generations. The episode originally aired on August 23, 2004, and follows our characters as they help Professor Birch with his Clamperl research, discover what made them evolve, assist Nancy and Keith in the process, and defeat Team Rocket with the newly evolved Pokémon. Rendered in gouache on a 14" x 10.25" background board, numbered #95 in the top left for the episode number and C-124 in the top right for the cut number, this fantastic image can be spotted at the 11:51 mark. Included with the lot are two studio-printed copies of the layout for the cut, featuring Ash, Pikachu, Max, Brock, and May in one (with red pencil on the characters), and Professor Birch on the other. The layout copies show staple holes and fold creases in the top-right corner. In Very Good condition with overall mild handling and edge wear from production.More information about Pokémon.
