That's the type of warm welcome anyone would get in a town called "Devil's Hole" as shown in this stunning pan-size production background when disfigured bounty hunter Jonah Hex marches into town with reward to capture. The episode originally aired on 9/12/1995 marking this year as its 30th Anniversary making it a uniquely timed item to add to any Batman collection. As Episode 2 in Season 4, the past and present meet as the Dynamic Duo hurry to put a stop to a kidnapping conducted by the mastermind Ra's Al Ghul meanwhile the bounty hunter Jonah Hex encounters Ra's in the year 1883 while on the hunt to capture a criminal named Arcady Duvall. This episode marks the first on-screen appearance of the DC Comics western vigilante Jonah Hex. The beautiful pan-shot can be seen between the 3:40 - 3:43 timestamp of the episode as Jonah Hex enters the town Devil's hole. The detailed pan-size background consists of a hand-painted gouache area that measures 19.5" x 7.5" on a paper background that measures 23.25" x 10.25" with the production codes labeled along the bottom. Accompanied by signed COA. The overall condition is Good with some edge and handling wear, faint debris and tape residue.
