Pac-Man Blinky and Clyde Production Cel Setup and Group of Two Animation Drawings (Hanna-Barbera, 1982). Pac-Man was one of the first animated series to be developed from the then-novel video game industry (many others followed!) This perennially popular character has spawned a 40 year-long franchise. Here is a most unusual cel setup from the series, featuring two of the ghosts (Blinky and Clyde) from the arcade game, who also made the transition to television to further bedevil the Pac family. In this episode, there has been a crossover with the citizens of Bedrock (note the shaggy caveman furs that they wear - and their large bone ornaments!) This was easily accomplished for Hanna-Barbera, which also owned the rights to The Flintstones. This enormous image of the two characters takes up the majority of the setup; image area measures roughly 8.5" x 9" on these two 12 field, hand-painted production cels. The two matching animation drawings are also included; images are rendered in graphite. Cels have been placed over a print background for display purposes. With minor handling, the drawings are in Very Good condition; cels are in Fine condition.
