Original storyboard drawing of "Jiminy Cricket" from Pinocchio. Original storyboard drawing of "Jiminy Cricket" from Pinocchio. (Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Rare original storyboard panel featuring "Jiminy Cricket" from Walt Disney's Pinocchio. The second animated feature film from the Walt Disney Studios, Pinocchio is considered by many to be one of the best animated films ever produced. This original storyboard panel features "Jiminy Cricket" from the scene where "Pinocchio" is freed from "Stromboli's" cage by the "Blue Fairy". The 8 x 8.5 in. piece of storyboard paper was taped to a larger 10 x 12 in. piece of animation paper. The embossed 1939 copyright and "Original WDP" stamp at the bottom wee added by Courvoisier Galleries in preparation for sale. Paper is in fine condition, however tape has yellowed with age. Image size is 5.75 x 7.5 in. Includes Courvoisier Galleries label on reverse.Auction Info
