Original production cels featuring "Fritz" and "Bertha" from Ralph Bakshi's Fritz the Cat. (Ralph Bakshi, 1972) Vintage (3) cel setup featuring "Fritz" and "Bertha" from Ralph Bakshi's groundbreaking 1972 feature film, Fritz the Cat. Bakshi's directorial debut was the first animated feature to receive an "X" rating, and is the most successful independent animated feature of all time. Based on the Robert Crumb comic book of the same name, the film's controversial content and political satire was unheard of at the time. This setup consists of (3) matching untrimmed cels, all measuring 10.5 x 12.5 in. Total image size is 8 x 12.5 in. Cels are in very fine condition with all paint intact.Auction Info
