Original production cels and matching production drawing of Ned Sparks from Mother Goose Goes Hollywood. (Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original production cels featuring Ned Sparks as Old King Cole's Jester from the 1939 Disney Silly Symphony, Mother Goose Goes Hollywood. This well-known short featured popular stars of the era as carictatured by animator T. Hee, The cel of Spark's body and head are matching and have been slightly trimmed to 8.5 x 9 in. Most likely originally sold through Courvoisier Galleries, the cels have been placed on a custopm airbrushed background. Total image size of the character is 7 x 6 in. Included with the cels is a matching original production drawing of the head cel on untrimmed 10 x 12 in. animation paper. The cels are in fine shape with some very light paint lifting.Auction Info
