    Description

Oliver and Company Tito Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1988). "A bath?" exclaims Tito (voiced by Cheech Marin) as he discovers that the love of a fancy uptown girl comes with a price. This original production cel appears around the 1:07:18 mark near the conclusion of Disney's 24th animated feature. The hot-tempered chihuahua was part of Fagin's gang of thieving dogs in this modern take on Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. It was a box-office success despite being released the same day as Don Bluth's hit film Land Before Time and was the first to go into production under the supervision of the team of Michael Eisner and Jeffery Katzenberg. The hand-painted character measures 4.5" x 4" on a laminated 12 field cel with a Disney seal in the lower left. It's a relatively large image of this otherwise tiny character making it particularly rare. The art is in a 16.5" x 14" mat with an opening of 11.5" x 9 and a Disney Certificate of Authenticity is mounted to the back. Condition is Fine.
