Officer Duck Squad Car Painted Production Background (Walt Disney, 1939). "Calling Officer Duck, Calling Officer Duck, Officer Duck... WAKE UP!" says the dispatcher to Donald Duck in the opening of this great cartoon. It was directed by Clyde Geronimi and was released on 10/10/39. This short had Donald Duck as a police officer trying to bring in "Tiny Tom," who was played by hulking brute Pete. This is an original gouache painting on 12 field 5-peghole background board. It is Donald Duck's police squad car, the one that we see him sleeping in, as the dispatcher is trying to awaken him. Check out the great old-fashion siren on the dash. Backside of this production background has studio stamps and various approvals. Minor handling and pinholes in corners. In Very Good condition.
