Officer Duck Donald Duck and Radio Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1939). Pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings from the beginning of this frantic short, directed by Clyde Geronimi, and released to theaters on 10/10/39. In the first, Officer Donald is awakened from his nap by his police radio, telling him to take in wanted criminal "Tiny Tom" (Pete); it's in graphite with an image size of 4" x 3.5" on a sheet noted as C144 in the lower right corner. There are inker notes written in the upper left. The second drawing is of Donald's radio, somewhat distorted as it tries to wake the sleepy officer up. This is nicely drawn in graphite with red pencil highlights, measuring 2.25" tall, with the number A 5 noted in the bottom right corner. Donald's drawing has handling and edge wear, with paper toning; it's in Good condition. The radio drawing is in Fine condition.
