Myron Waldman "Day at the Beach" Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Swee'Pea Limited Edition Cel #177/200 (Fleischer Studios/King Features, 1999). Here's a playful image of Popeye buried in the sand by nephew Swee'Pea while Olive relaxes with a book and the radio. This hand-painted limited edition cel was one of a series produced by Toon Art, created from artwork by Myron Waldman (1908 - 2006). Mr. Waldman had a long career in animation, including stints at the Fleischer Studios and Paramount's Famous Studios, where he worked closely with these iconic characters. The cel includes King Features/Fleischer Studios seals with Myron's hand-printed signature, and includes a Toon Art COA. The background is a print, and the setup has an overall size of 13" x 11". Fine condition.
