Mulan Shan Yu and Mulan 22.5" x 12.5" Presentation Cel with Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 1998). Mulan escapes from Shan Yu's rage after revealing that she was the soldier in the mountains who foiled his plans, as seen in this incredible presentation cel showcased on the original hand-painted Key Master background from the scene at the 1:13:18 mark of the 1998 Disney animated film Mulan. This setup was originally lot #124 at the 1998 auction "The Art of Disney's Mulan," where the spectacular backgrounds from the film were offered with one-of-a-kind presentation cels. Mulan is featured measuring an outstanding 14.5" x 8.25" as Shan Yu prepares to swing his sword standing at 8" x 6.5" in this five-layer cel that presents two production overlays, bearing a Disney stamp in the top right corner of the top layer. This lot is offered on a 31" x 21.25" Plexiglas-fronted frame with a 22.5" x 12.5" mat opening. With minor warping on the cel, this lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
