DescriptionMulan II Mushu Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 2004). The sequel takes place approximately one month after the events of the first film. There is much to celebrate in China. The evil Huns are gone, and the Middle Kingdom is at peace. From Mulan II we present an extraordinary image of Mushu, the fast-talking, self-absorbed Chinese dragon and the self-appointed guardian of Fa Mulan. Mushu is based on a traditional Eastern dragon, which is radically different from Western dragons. As a mythical creature, Mushu is very durable, to the point of being seemingly immortal. He endures being stomped on, explosions, and an avalanche in the first movie. Mushu, measuring 10" x 6", is rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. The piece is noted as A1 from sequence 2.70, scene 59. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Light handling. Condition is Very Good.
