Mr. Bug Goes to Town Storyboard and Layout Group of 15 (Fleischer Studios/Paramount Pictures, 1941). Also known as Hoppity Goes To Town, it is a classic cartoon by today's standards, although it was not a financial success at the time of its release. This group if packed full of simply amazing layout drawings, rough designs, and storyboard layouts for the the 78 minute feature cartoon. Some pages bear interesting notations such as "Dave" (a reference to Dave Fleischer?), while some of the storyboard pages are assigned to "Geo" (most likely George Germanetti), Frank Endres, or Harold Walker. These are created in graphite and color pencils, many on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. One is a large 36" long pan. Many have been folded, and there is some cut-and-paste corrections. Overall they are in Very Good condition. A fantastic find! From the Eric Sack Collection.
