DescriptionMr. Bug Goes to Town Smack the Mosquito and Swat the Fly Layout Drawing Original Art (Max Fleischer, 1941). Smack and Swat, those two bumbling insect bad guys, are peeking out from behind a pipe in this rare original Fleischer Studios layout drawing. Although the foot at the table we see appears to be Bagwell's (due to the use of spats), notes under the art say "Make this Hoppity's table." Along the top edge of the image is written "Use this dwg for rendering suggestions only," meaning this exact scene does not appear in the film. Art is in heavy graphite on 16 field 3-peghole animation paper, with an image size of 12" x 9.25". Center fold crease, tack holes, handling wear, and mild paper toning. Image is in Very Good condition.
