DescriptionMr. Bug Goes to Town Publicity Photo Print Group of 71 (Max Fleischer, 1941). Here's a treasure trove of publicity 8" x 10" photo prints from this gem of a film that has been rediscovered and restored in recent years. These are photos sent to newspapers to advertise the film in theaters, and many include the original types "cutline" (photo caption) on back. Artwork does not appear to be exact matches from the film, meaning these images were specially drawn for publicity purposes. Many do not list the title, and may have originated from later releases that retitled the film as Hoppity Goes to Town or Bugville. Most prints are in black and white, but a few are in sepia tone. There is some duplication. The glossy prints are housed in two sturdy plastic art portfolios. Overall condition averages Very Good.
