    Description

Mother Goose Melodies Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1930). In this very early Silly Symphony directed by Burt Gillett, Old King Cole is entertained by a parade of Mother Goose characters. Here is the Goose who is actually perched on Mother who eventually dances out from inside her book of fables. It can be seen around the 2:29 mark. It's a wonderful full-figure image measuring 6" x 3", rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole paper and numbered 78 in the bottom right corner. Very little artwork exists from this, only the seventeenth Silly Symphony ever made. Minor handling wear; Fine condition.
