DescriptionMother Goose Goes to Hollywood Marx Brothers Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938) Old King Cole called for his pipe, and he called for his bowl and he called for his fiddlers-three in this Wilfred Jackson directed parody of Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes featuring Hollywood stars of the 30's. The King's fiddlers in this short were portrayed by the Marx Brothers (Groucho, Chico, and Harpo) and this is a pair of original production drawings of them. The first drawing is a full figure image of Groucho measuring 6" x 4" and the second is of Harpo and Chico which measures 5" x 6". Both are graphite with red, green, and blue pencilling and inkers notes on 12-field, 5 peg hole animation paper. The lower right corner of Groucho's page is numbered 143 and Harpo and Chico are numbered 137. All show some minor handling; otherwise Condition is Fine.
