    Mother Goose Goes Hollywood W. C. Fields and Charlie McCarthy Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Legendary adversaries W. C. Fields (as Humpty Dumpty) and Charlie McCarthy (sitting up in a tree, in a bird's nest) go at each other in this pair of original 16 field animation production drawings. This Silly Symphony short was directed by Wilfred Jackson, and released on 12/23/38, with caricatures based on the art of T. Hee. The Fields drawing is in graphite with red and green highlights, and an image size of 5" tall; it's marked 157 in the lower right. Charlie in the bird's nest is drawn in graphite with a small bit of red and green pencil, and an image size of 3". It's marked as 213 in the lower right. Fine condition.
