DescriptionMother Goose Goes Hollywood W. C. Fields and Charlie McCarthy Animation/Color Model Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Humpty Dumpty W. C. Fields is, sparring with marionette Charlie McCarthy (who is up a tree, sitting in a bird's nest) in this pair of original 16 field animation production drawings. This Silly Symphony short was directed by Wilfred Jackson, and released on 12/23/38, with caricatures based on the art of T. Hee. The Fields drawing is in graphite with red and green highlights, and an image size of 5" tall; it's marked 159 in the lower right. Charlie is drawn in graphite with red and green highlights. The overall image size is 3", and it's marked as 227 in the lower right. Fields is in fine condition with light handling wear; Charlie is in Very Good condition with minor graphite smudging and two small corner folds.
