    Mother Goose Goes Hollywood Storyboard de Laurel et Hardy Lot de 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Cette « Silly Symphony » présente des caricatures de l'Âge d'Or d'Hollywood réalisées dans une parodie des contes de la Mère l'Oie. Le court-métrage, présenté le 23/12/38 a été réalisé par Wilfred Jackson et a été nominé pour un Oscar. Le lot est constitué de deux rares storyboards originaux de 20,3 x 22,8 cm mettant en vedette Stan Laurel dans le rôle de Simple Simon et Oliver Hardy dans le rôle de Pie Man. Le dessin, hautement détaillé, est réalisé à la mine de plomb avec des reflets multicolores. Les images mesurent 12,7 et 15,2 cm et constituent un bel éclairage sur la réalisation de ce court-métrage comptant parmi les classiques ! Présence de trous d'épingle dans les coins avec des salissures et une usure des bords mineures. Très bonne condition.

This Silly Symphony short featured Golden Age of Hollywood caricatures done in a Mother Goose story parody. The short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and was nominated for an Academy Award. It was released on 12/23/38. This is a rare pair of original 8" x 9" storyboards featuring Stan Laurel as Simple Simon and Oliver Hardy as the Pie Man. The highly detailed art is in graphite with multi colored pencil highlights. Images are 5" and 6". A great look into the making of this classic short! Pinholes in corners with minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
