DescriptionMother Goose Goes Hollywood Old King Cole Animation Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938).
"You wanna buy a duck?" asks Donald Duck in his cameo appearance in Mother Goose Goes Hollywood. This fantastic layout drawing from the 1938 Walt Disney short features a caricature of comedian Hugh Herbert as Old King Cole. The short, directed by Wilfred Jackson, featured caricatures of 1930s Hollywood celebrities by T. Hee. The art is in red pencil with a nice large image area of 8" x 6". Edge wear and age-related paper toning. Layout drawings are considered rare and highly sought after by animation art collectors. Very Good condition.
