DescriptionMother Goose Goes Hollywood Laurel and Hardy Storyboard Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). This Silly Symphony short featured Golden Age of Hollywood caricatures done in a Mother Goose story parody. The short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and was nominated for an Academy Award. It was released on 12/23/38. This is a rare pair of original 8" x 9" storyboards featuring Stan Laurel as Simple Simon and Oliver Hardy as the Pie Man. The highly detailed art is in graphite with multi colored pencil highlights. Images are 5" and 6". A great look into the making of this classic short! Pinholes in corners with minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
