DescriptionMoth and the Flame Lady Moth Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). The lovely lady moth who is seduced by a candle flame is featured in this original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing. Burt Gillett directed this Silly Symphony short, which was released to theaters on 4/1/38. This is the scene from approximately 2:41 where she is startled by her "dancing" shadow, as seen on the Disney Wiki page for this short. The art is in graphite with subtle blue and red pencil highlights, and a full-figure image size of 4.25". Noted in the lower right corner is the number 22T. Fine condition, with minor edge wear.
