    Description

Moth and the Flame Color Key/Concept Painting (Walt Disney, 1938). This is original art from a beautiful classic Silly Symphony cartoon that debuted on 4/1/38 and has almost been forgotten. Produced shortly after the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs the artwork and special effects in this film are right on par with it. Presented is a mini masterpiece painted in watercolor on 11.5" x 3" paper. It is the color key to the scene that appears at the 2:30 mark in this Bert Gillett--directed short. The detail is absolutely stunning in this one-of-a-kind image. The piece shows light handling and condition is Very Good.
