Description
The Lion King Original Timon Model Sheet (Walt Disney, 1994).The story of The Lion King takes place in an African kingdom called the Pride Lands, where a lion rules over the other animals as king. In 2016, the film was chosen for preservation by the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". From The Lion King we have a terrific model sheet of Timon, the wisecracking meerkat and the best friend of Pumbaa. The sheet measures 17" x 12.5" with 9 different expressions and emotions for Timon. Model sheets are required when multiple artists are involved in the production of an animated film to help maintain continuity in characters from scene to scene. Model sheets are considered highly desirable by astute collectors of animation. Included in this lot is a certificate of authenticity issued by Phil Sears Collectibles. Normal handling. Fine condition.
