Terrytoons RARE Original Character Model Drawing (Terrytoons, c.1940s). Offered in this lot is an outstanding animator's study rendered on an early Terrytoons Studios animation sheet. Masterfully crafted in the early 1940s, this adorable drawing features a curious chipmunk design with five full-figure poses and two cheerful expression studies. Presented like a model sheet the graphite renderings of this chipmunk range in height from 1" to 2.25" on the 12 field 3-peghole page. Known for being the studio behind the mischievous magpies Heckle, Jeckle, and the small hero Mighty Mouse, this is a wonderful piece showcasing the creative minds behind the acclaimed studio! The piece shows handling and edgewear including creases, wrinkling, nick and tears on the edges, and mild age-related toning. In Good to Very Good condition.
