Description
Sylvester Model Sheet Original Art (Warner Brothers, 1956). "Sufferin' succotash!" It's that bad ol' puddy tat himself, Sylvester in a rare original model sheet drawing with six superb poses! The art is drawn in graphite over blue pencil on animation paper measuring 14" x 10.5". This Looney Tunes character was officially launched with the 1945 short Life With Feathers, which pared Sylvester with Tweety, for one of the most well-loved cartoon teams in film history. These are classic images of Sylvester standing proud, pointing, smiling, looking sinister, and ready to pounce. Figure sizes are 4.5"-5". A notation on back in blue pencil reads "W. B. 1956." Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.Auction Info
