Description
Private Snafu Studio Model Sheet (Warner Brothers, 1943). Private Snafu was a series of black and white World War II propaganda/instructional cartoons made between 1942 and 1945. This is a rare studio model sheet (marked #2) printed on photographic paper; in addition to Snafu, we see "Technical Fairy (First Class), who appeared in the Frank Tashlin-directed "Home Front." Hand-signed by Chuck Jones (1912-2002) in the bottom right corner; Jones was an animator and director on this series. Rare. Framed with Plexiglas, for an overall size of 23" x 19.5".
