    Popeye and Friends Model Sheet Animation Art and Print Group (Famous Studios, 1950s). Lot includes four hand-drawn pieces: a model sheet with two views of Casper the Ghost, graphite on 12-field, 3-peghole paper; a size comparison drawing of Barney Google, Snuffy Smith, and Loweezy, graphite on 12-field, 3-peghole paper; five views of a young fox, from an unidentified cartoon, graphite and red pencil on 3-peghole paper; and a rough layout sketch of Popeye and friends having a Birthday picnic, blue pencil on 16-field, 3-peghole paper. Also included are several photo print publicity pieces, including three different 13.75" x 11" black and white images of the Famous Studios cartoon stars and one Christmas-themed group shot on 8" x 11.5" photo paper; and two 11" x 13" reverse prints of Popeye and Baby Huey. All are in Very Good to Fine condition.
