Description
Pluto Studio Model Sheet Print (Walt Disney, c. 1940s). This fantastic vintage studio-used model sheet features Mickey's pet Pluto. Model sheets like this were used to help develop a character's look and were often printed on photographic paper. They were - and still are - a necessary part of the process that helped keep everything consistent throughout a multi-artist production. The model sheet is titled "Typical Pluto Poses and Expressions", dated 4-28-39, and bears 16 poses ranging in height from about 1.75" to 2.75". This piece is presented in a 16" x 14.25" glass-fronted frame with a mat aperture of about 12" x 10.5". This model sheet offers an invaluable look into Disney studio's animation process with many never leaving the studio – a highly collectible find! The piece appears well-preserved in its frame with minimal handling wear and slight wrinkling. In Good to Very Good condition.More information about Walt Disney Studios - Fab Five.
