Pinocchio Pleasure Island Donkeys Model Sheet Drawing Original Art with Early Pinocchio Design (Walt Disney, 1940). Can you imagine the sheer horror of being a young boy swayed by temptation into the "no rules" world of Pleasure Island, only to find yourself forever transformed into a donkey, and forced into a life of hard work? Pinocchio almost found out too late, after first witnessing his tough new pal Lampwick crying out for "Mama" before turning into a braying animal, and then finding himself growing long ears and a tail. Yow! What a fate! Here's an original sheet of 12 field 5-peghole animation paper with six sad-eyed donkey drawings, plus an early version of Pinocchio before Milt Kahl's more child-like redesign. The art is in graphite, with five of the donkeys nicely detailed, and the sixth as an outline. Pinocchio's figure size is 5". Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
