Pinocchio Model Sheet (Walt Disney, 1940). This is an incredibly rare original practice model sheet drawn by the animators of the 1940 Disney feature masterpiece Pinocchio. Pinocchio set new high standards for the Disney Studio after the groundbreaking Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with innovative and ambitious animation techniques and a fantastic story that to this day makes it one of the most recognized animated features of all time. This single sheet of 12 field 5-peghole animation paper contains FIVE amazing and expressive drawings of the titular character, rendered beautifully in graphite. The drawings nearly fill the paper, and the paper itself shows minor handling and edge wear with mild smudging throughout. There is some light toning around the edges due to age, and the condition overall is Very Good.
