Description
Peter Puck Original Model Sheet Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1973). Sports fans, take note of this interesting lot! Here is one of the earliest hand-painted cels of hockey mascot Peter Puck, who was seen as an animated clip shown during the NBC Hockey Game of the Week (and eventually the CBC Hockey Night in Canada). Peter explained the game's rules, history and equipment use. Nine episodes were produced. This is an extremely rare 12 field model sheet cel, with a color image measuring approximately 3.75" x 3.5", plus six more unpainted images of Peter showing his skills on the ice. This 50+-year-old cel is placed on a solid blue cel-painted background, with a white paper behind; cel and pages are all with three pegholes along the lower edge. Condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear.Auction Info
