Peanuts Character Ford Commercial Model Sheet Group (Bill Melendez/Playhouse Pictures, c. 1959-60). Peanuts animation began with the Ford Falcon in 1959. It began the lifelong relationship between Charles Schulz and Bill Melendez. This is a series of five reverse-image (negative) printed model sheets for this project. This set has one labeled 59 -248 Peanuts with 16 images (12" x 15"); one is labeled Peanuts Model Sheet Playhouse Pictures 2/24/60 (15" x 12"), 26 images; one labeled Peanuts Models (Mostly Linus) Nov 26 60 60/307 13" x 16", 24 image groups; one as Peanuts Models (mostly Lucy) Nov 28 60 60/307 28 image groups (13" x 16"); and finally Peanuts Model sheet Charlie Brown - Snoopy Nov 28, '60, 60/307, with 32 image groups including a Great Pumpkin scene (13" x 16").
