Description
Max Fleischer/Famous Studios Model Sheet Group (c. 1930s-50s). A group of thirty-six original printed studio model sheets of all shapes and sizes from the Max Fleischer and Famous Studios files. This amazing look into these two studios includes: three from Gulliver's Travels (Gabby, King, Pacifist), three from Raggedy Ann and Andy, one of Herman Mouse (Herman and Katnip), four Baby Huey, five from Little Lulu cartoons, including a politically incorrect "mammy" size comparison model sheet; six from Casper; one from Superman, and thirteen from various cartoons, including one hand-drawn "Water Dripping" test page. One "Bulldog and Poodle" model sheet has typed notes that read "Bill Tytla's comments on his model sheet of bulldog and poodle." He goes on to give nine lines of points.
