    Description

Leon Schlesinger Studio Model Sheets Group of 12 (Warner Brothers, 1930's/'40s). Leon Schlesinger Studios was the home of the venerable Termite Terrace and the starting point for many of the Warner Brothers great animators and directors such as Tex Avery, Chuck Jones Friz Freleng and Bob McKimson and iconic characters like Porky Pig, Daffy Duck and of course Bugs Bunny. Presented is a collection of 12 photostatic animator's model sheets from a variety of Schlesinger shorts. Many are very early development models for characters for cartoons that were either renamed or did not go into production, making them extremely rare and possibly the only ones still in existence. Titles include Fulla Bluff Salesman, The Fatal Kiss and Lettle Pancho Vanilla. The prints range in size from 11" x 8.5" to 14" x 11". Each shows handling, pinholes, toning and some creases; otherwise, condition for the lot is Good. This lot will have to ship from Dallas to the winning bidder. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
