    Description

King Vitaman Not So Bright Knight Model Sheet (Jay Ward, c. 1960's/70's). The Not So Bright Knight was one of the villains determined to pilfer King Vitaman's delicious breakfast cereal. The King, along with Quisp, Quake and Captain Crunch (not to mention Rocky and Bullwinkle), was the brainchild of Jay Ward Studios. Ward's condition upon entering a commercial deal with Quaker oats was that his commercials had to be funny. Images of King Vitaman are included in the model sheet along with his sidekick Sir Laffitup. This photographic print once, used as a reference for studio animators and artists, hung in the office of a former art director for Quaker Oats and bears a Quartet Films logo in the lower right corner. This is an original animator's studio document featuring original Jay Ward Studio characters. It is matted and framed under glass with a mat opening of 7.5" x 8.5" in a frame measuring 14" x 14.5". Frame is sold as-is; otherwise, condition is Fine.
