Description
Hunter x Hunter Studio-Printed Model Sheets (Madhouse, 2011-2014). Written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi, who previously saw success with the manga series Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter tells the story of a young Gon Freecss, who aspires to become a prestigious Hunter to reunite with his absentee father. Hunters are a select group with outstanding capabilities devoted to hunting treasures, investigating beasts, exploring uncharted territory, among many other extraordinary tasks. The huge success of the manga granted the series two anime adaptations, the first by Nippon Animation in 1999, running for 62 episodes, and the second by Studio Madhouse in 2011, running for 148. Offered in this lot is a group of 69 studio-printed model sheets, also known as settei, from the 2011 series. These 11.75" x 8.25" model sheets feature a large number of images used as references during the animation process, and feature characters such as Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Hisoka, and more. With some handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
