Description

Fun and Fancy Free Bongo, Lulu-Belle, and Angry Bear Studio Model Sheet Group (Walt Disney, 1947). At least two of the six printed model sheets in this group belonged to Mary Schuster Broggie when she was an in-betweener in Ward Kimball's 1-D Animation Unit. She started with Disney in 1944, and eventually married Roger Broggie, the first Disney Imagineer. These printed model sheets are from the 1947 movie Fun and Fancy Free, which consisted of two Disney shorts hosted by Jiminy Cricket. The first was "Bongo" about a circus bear escaping into the wild. The six model sheets are printed on photographic paper (three of Bongo, two of Lulu-Belle, one of Angry Bear). The sheets measure approximately 17" x 14" and have multiple images on each one. They range from 6 to 29 figures on each page... the largest figures measure 4.5" tall. These prints have been folded vertically, and show edge wear, corner wear, some minor tears, staple holes, and foxing and stains. Overall they are in Very Good condition.

Several people contacted me who felt similarly about the way the auction was handled. At this point in my career I'm much more concerned with the respectful professionalism in all forms when it comes to my life's work. I truly appreciate your efforts in t
