Disney Feature Animation Studio Model Sheets Group of 8 (Walt Disney, c. 1930s-1940s). Here's a superb assortment of eight studio model sheet prints from Walt Disney Feature Animation. The model sheet acts as a comprehensive guide to map out things like a character's personality, design, mannerism, and thought processes. Model sheets are required when multiple artists are involved in production, to help maintain continuity. These are printed on photographic paper in sizes of roughly 14" x 11" and 15" x 12.5". Some sheets are from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, featuring the Witch and the Raven. Four pieces come from Pinocchio and depict Geppetto's bed, atmosphere sketches, and Jiminy Cricket. This amazing assortment also includes model sheets for the goldfish from Fantasia. Model sheets are considered very rare and highly prized by discerning collectors of animation art. The sheets exhibit edge wear, water stains, small tears along the borders of some, and superficial wrinkling. Overall, condition is Fair to Good.Auction Info
