Description
Devlin Model Sheet Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1974). Devlin was an animated television series inspired by daredevil Evel Knievel and featured a stunt motorcyclist Ernie Devlin and his siblings, Tod and Sandy. Here is a rare size comparison chart or model sheet/cel showing (L to R) Sandy, Ernie, Tod, and Hank. Model sheets are required when multiple artists are involved in the production of an animated film or cartoon to help maintain continuity in characters from scene to scene. In animation, an animator may only do one shot out of the several hundred that are required to complete the cartoon. This model sheet was hand-painted on 12 field acetate. The cel is placed over a blue color card for presentation purposes. Mild production handling and wear. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
