Description
Cinderella Lucifer, Bruno, Jaq, Gus, Cinderella, the King, and Cinderella's Stepsisters Studio Model Sheet Print Group of 7 (Walt Disney, 1950). This lot includes seven incredible model sheet prints from Cinderella featuring Lucifer, Bruno, Jaq, Jaq and Gus, the King, Cinderella's stepsisters, and the protagonist of the film herself. Each of these model sheets would have been created from original drawings by the artists in Joe Grant's character model department and then printed on photographic paper and distributed throughout the studio in small quantities. Each of these model sheets are highly collectible and very important to the animation process. All of the model sheet prints in this lot were created on 14'' x 11'' photographic paper and give great insight into the process that brought these characters to life with various poses and expressions. One model sheet print notably includes a few risqué gags added in graphite with dialogue for the two sisters written primarily in French. Good to Very Good condition for these rare model sheets with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint creasing.Auction Info
