Description
Bugs Bunny Printed Model Sheet (Warner Brothers, 1943). The look of Bugs Bunny evolved drastically during the early 1940's. By 1943, he had developed into what most would consider his classic design. Offered here is an original printed model sheet of Bugs in 1943. The original art was drawn by director Bob McKimson. This is a consummate assortment of reference imagery with over 20 different poses, expressions and design notes printed on 14" x 11" paper. It's everything an artist needs to draw a proper image of the wascally wabbit from the golden age of Warner Brothers animation. It also bears a Leon Schlesinger Productions copyright under the title and a rough drawing of Porky in graphite on the upper left border, likely as a height comparison reference. Model sheets like this were never meant to leave the studio and are collected as official documents. The 80-year-old piece shows minor handling and condition is Very Good.Auction Info
