Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid Bugs Bunny Model Sheet Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1942). This Bob Clampett-directed short, the title of which references a Brooklynese reference to an obscene gesture, marked the very first appearance of Beaky Buzzard. This is an original Bugs Bunny drawing on a 12 field 2-peghole sheet of paper created for a model sheet for this animated short. The five images of Bugs are rendered in graphite with red pencil and most can be found at various points in the cartoon. Model sheets are created so that a character's look remains consistent throughout a production so the images must be perfect, which these certainly are. Very light handling and condition is Very Good. From the Rev Chaney Archives.
