Bambi Model Sheet Group (Walt Disney, 1938-40). A collection of 25 original Walt Disney Studio animators model sheets printed on photographic paper for artist reference. Since there were no photo copy machines, animation and character design instructions were cut out , pinned to a board, and shot with a camera and printed on photographic paper for distribution to the studio artists. These are rare Disney documents to the animation process, several with Disney stamps on the reverse. This collection includes eight Bambi model sheets, two Thumper model sheets, three Faline Model sheets, four Flower Model sheets, three Wise Old Owl Model Sheets, and five various animals model sheets. All have handling, pinholes, and average wear; Good condition. An amazing look into the making of this beloved film.
