All's Fair at the Fair Popeye Cartoon Bluto Model Sheet (Famous Studios, 1947).
Popeye's nemesis and arch-rival for the love of Olive Oyl was Bluto. From the 1947 Popeye theatrical cartoon titled All's Fair at the Fair, here is a very rare, one-of-a-kind piece of vintage animation art. This is a model sheet used to show the costume that Bluto will wear in the show. You can first see this costume at the 1:07 mark in the cartoon. This is a great opportunity to acquire a piece of vintage animation art that is over 70 years old! The model sheet was rendered in graphite on 14" x 11" drawing paper. The artwork is in a 20.5" x 17.5" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 13.25" x 10". The frame is sold as-is. The piece has a crease in the middle of the page with some wrinkling, otherwise, condition is Good.
