    Description

Walt Disney Studios -- "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Preliminary Animation Sketch (1937). Snow White awakes in the final scene of the film. This preliminary sketch is one of the early drawings that were changed for the final filming. Historians write that Walt was unhappy with the wooden movements of the Prince and Snow White in the final kiss sequence, but since money and time was running out, only some of this sequence was redrawn. This drawing depicts Snow White as she wakes, but this sequence was redrawn and her body appears at a slightly different angle in the final film. A unique piece of Disney history. Snow White is 7.25" x 6.0" and the paper area measures 9.0" x 7.25."
