Description
Mighty Mouse Cartoon Production Background Group (Terrytoons, 1944-47). Mighty Mouse was Paul Terry's biggest star. Created by Izzy Klein, he was originally called Super Mouse but changed after seven cartoons when Terry learned of an earlier comic book Super Mouse (appearing in Coo Coo Comics). Here's a set of four original production backgrounds from the Golden Age of Mighty Mouse shorts, all from the 1940s. The oven in the basement is from Wolf Wolf; the ramshackle house in the snow is from First Snow; the courthouse exterior is from A Champion of Justice; and the ship's lower deck is from The Wreck of the Hesperus. All were directed by Manny Davis. Gouache on 3-top peghole cardboard; the first three are 13" x 9.75", the fourth is 14" x 11". All are in Fine condition.Shipping, Taxes, Terms and Bidding
