Description

Mickey's Trailer Mickey Mouse Making Coffee Animation Drawing and Water Effects Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1938). Here's a pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings from one of our all-time favorite Disney cartoons featuring the star trio of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Ben Sharpsteen directed this hair-raising short, which was first shown in theaters on 5/6/1938. The first drawing shows Mickey in the trailer kitchen making coffee, as seen at about the 1:24 mark. Art is in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights, and an overall approximate image size of 5.5" x 5.5", numbered 40 in the lower right. There are a few color call-outs noted for Mickey's coffee pot. The second drawing, noted a C631/2, is a graphite image of a splash of water from Donald's bath (a bathtub in a small trailer? Of course!). The main image measures about 2.5" across, with notes in red pencil to the side. Condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.
